Josh Dubman, aka DJ Fire Aux, is a Wisconsin native who cut his teeth in Chicago before taking his sound global. After several years in Hong Kong, he played across Asia—hitting cities like Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Bali, Lombok, and Shenzhen—before landing in New York. He’s shared stages with A$AP Mob, Denzel Curry, Madeintyo, Famous Dex, KEY!, and Silento, and worked with brands like Hypebeast and Moncler. While in Hong Kong, he launched Auxidize, a party series that quickly gained traction across Hong Kong, Chicago, and New York. Now based in NYC, Fire Aux holds residencies at Aftermath and Mr. Nancy’s in Ridgewood, McCarren Parkhouse in Williamsburg, as well as recurring sets at all SoHo House locations in New York.
Classically trained in piano and cello, his foundation in hip hop evolved into a broader, global sound. His DJ sets and productions pull from international club scenes and dance music worldwide, grounded in his hip hop roots.
